Abstract

We analyze the impact of the evolution of the demand location on the location of agricultural productions within the European Union. The developed empirical analysis is based on theoretical works led in geographic economy field. The agricultural productions tend to concentrate near the demand to minimize the access costs to the market. The location of productions strongly supported by the Common Agricultural Policy program is less dependent on transport costs. These productions (milk - bovine meat and cereals) are less concentrated geographically than the others products.
