Qui gagne et qui perd au jeu des quotas laitiers ? Une approche a partir de travaux recents conduits en Rhone-Alpes

Milk quotas have effects on farms which are all the more negative as technical skill are low, the size of the farm is reduced, the needs for growth are not satisfied, diversification is difficult, and the milk buyer exceeds his reference quantity. On local agricultural economies, their effects result from demographic, technical and economic structure of the producers and from the type and situation of the buyer. Besides these observations it has been brought out how local bodies and individuals haved worked together in relation to the quota national compromise, as it is one of the main features of the functioning dairy economy with the quotas.
