Abstract
The different kinds of thought that led rural economics since 30 years rarely included, in an explicit way in their approach, the spatial dimension of economic phenomenons. Nowadays, the economists cannot be satisfied with an implicit representation of space that tends to reduce it to an abstract and undifferentiated space. The study of the development of an agricultural cooperative and of the actions of local development led on its activity area, shows the need of considering space in its double dimension : abstract space and territorial space.
