Abstract
The paradox of hidden unemployment and its consequences - Most economic development models make use of the well-known phenomenon of hidden unemployment as the keystone of growth, a phenomenon which seems to offer interesting potentialities in the realization of a by no means certain « take-off ». Nevertheless one must be careful how one uses this concept for, on the one hand, it has not yet given rise to a conclusive theoretical analysis accepted by all writers on the subject, and on the other, experience has shown how difficult it is to absorb the
