Abstract
Social entrepreneurship has been widely adopted by entrepreneurs as a solution to address various social issues. Its development became increasingly recognized with the establishment of Grameen Bank by Muhammad Yunus in Bangladesh. One example of a social enterprise in Indonesia is Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru, located in Bogor. This initiative aims to advance the village of Tegalwaru while supporting the development of businesses owned by local residents. This study aims to analyze the elements of social entrepreneurship present in Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru and its impact on the business performance of its partners, and analyze the relationship between social entrepreneurship elements and the performance of partner businesses. The findings reveal that Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru embodies social entrepreneurship elements such as social value, civil society participation, innovation, and economic activities. Impact analysis shows that overall, Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru has a positive influence on improving the business performance of its partners. These findings underscore the importance of social entrepreneurship approaches in community-based development, particularly in rural areas. By combining social goals with economic sustainability, the Tegalwaru Business Tourism Village has successfully created an ecosystem that supports community empowerment, increased income, and strengthened local business networks. Similar models are recommended for replication in other villages to foster economic self-reliance through local potential and stakeholder collaboration.
