Abstract
An automatic system based on the digital processing of images for post-harvest selection of Persian lime (Citrus Latifolia Tanaka), which of highest production in México, is presented. An inspection camera establishes the conditions necessary for the processing of images performing the analysis and color segmentation, as well as the morphological analysis of the fruit which determines its characteristics and quality. It is a low-cost system because its operation is supported by a personal computer and a high-definition web camera.
