Abstract
The P2KP program is a guideline for increasing food consumption based on local wisdom, collaboration between the community and the government. The problem of serious food insecurity will affect people in both developed and developing countries. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact that disrupts access to fresh food, providing nutrition at affordable prices. Optimization of the use of the yard is carried out through community empowerment efforts to optimize the use of the yard as a source of food andfamily nutrition. This research was conducted by members of the women's group of orchid farmers in Bulu Kamase Village, South Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency using purposive sampling. The population in this study were members of the Orchid KWT, amounting to 35 people, so that in this study the entire population was used as the research sample. The scope of this research is the Sustainable Food House program, especially on the types of vegetable crops in the gardens of members of the Orchid KWT. This study uses descriptive analysis method to determine the level of implementation and optimization of the RPL program. The results of the research are that the optimization of the Sustainable Food House program is influenced by counseling, the availability of production facilities, and the involvement of KWT members in the program. The higher the level of counseling, it can affect the optimization of the use of community yard land to obtain an overview of the benefits of yard land management in food security and meeting the nutritional needs of the community.
