Abstract

In different places of the world the condition of farming is not similar. The aim of this paper is to deal systematically and general with the similarities and differences of the conditions and results in agricul-tural enterprises with economic point of view. Zsolt Nemessdlyi spent study tour in USA by Fulbright Scholarship a half year in 1991, Andras Ndbrddi spent six weeks long study course in Japan in 1992, and both authors spent shorter or longer periods in the Netherlands, Ireland as well as in United Kingdom. On the basis of their personal experiences the authors will present the main conditions and results of farming throughout an Eastern European's economists eyes of the above mentioned countries.
