Abstract
Agritourism is becoming increasingly important in the development of rural areas. It allows for combining basic agricultural (production) activities and diversifying the farm's income, it also provides jobs for family members and professionally activates the local community. It is important to emphasize the quality of agritourism services, because it directly determines customer satisfaction, and indirectly higher profits and maintaining employment. The aim of the study that is the basis for this article was to identify and assess the quality gaps in the services provided by agritourism farms in the Eastern Poland macroregion. The study used the Servqual method, which made it possible to assess the quality criteria and the importance of the service provided. 570 respondents took part in it. The results show that the expectations of agritourism farm customers exceed the actual state of the services offered. The features that most require improvement were identified, including reliability, empathy and quick response.
