Abstract
The development of new forms of production organization – agroholdings with strong vertical integration – is completely changing the agricultural geography of Central Europe. Large farms, established in a specific historical context, became the basis for the penetration of agriculture by capitalism and its characteristic relations of power. The increasing influence of agribusiness on land resources and the production apparatus results from economic conditions, and above all, political accumulation of various components of capital. The article analyzes the economic logic of the expansion of agribusiness in agriculture of Central European countries.
