Factors Affecting Coyote Predation of Sheep and Lambs: A Statistical Analysis

This paper presents a statistical analysis of the relationships among coyote abundance indices, lamb losses, ranch management practices, and predator control efforts. Regression, discriminant, and cluster analyses were run. Some general tendencies were found, although much of the variation in lamb losses could not be explained.
