Abstract
Excerpt from the report: Management of a cooperative or other cottonseed mill needs to determine its most profitable levels of delinting under varying prices for chemical linters. The major objectives of this study were: (1) To define and evaluate factors that affect costs and sales values of chemical cotton linters; and (2) to develop procedures whereby mill management can apply their individual cost and revenue data to determine how close to delint cottonseed under varying prices of chemical linters.
