Abstract
Excerpt from the Report: United States and Canada exchange more products across their 3,000-mile border than any other two countries in the world. Our farmers share heavily in this trade, for Canada is normally the best foreign customer for our farm products in the Western Hemisphere. And, unlike many other countries who buy from us, Canada pays for them in dollars out of its own earnings and resources. It is able to do this because we, in turn, buy from Canada’s forests, mines, and factories, as well as from its farms.
