Abstract
Based on the investigation of the status of forest land resources in the southern parts of Cixi City, the problems exiting in the development of forestry (e.g. overdevelopment of industry and decline in water conservation quality) are pointed out, and countermeasures (e.g. coordination, integration, scientific planning, strict protection, orderly development and ecological compensation) are put forward, in order to provide a reference for the sustainable development of forestry in Cixi City.
