Abstract

This study examines labor productivity of hired and family labor on small farms in Nicaragua. Two hypotheses are tested relating to the MVPL and AVPL with respect to the wage rate. Policy implications are drawn regarding rural to urban migration and rural and urban unemployment for devel0ping nations.
