Abstract

The general problem which this study addresses is whether the waste heat from power plants can be treated as a valuable input to be managed in controlled biological systems. More specifically, is an integrated waste heat utilization system comprised of agricultural and aqua cultural uses economically feasible. 21 Systems which utilize low grade energy provide an alternative for using energy resources more efficiently by recycling those resources, and at the sane tine provide multiple uses of limited water resources.
