The study deals with the question of services for agricultural enterprises. It is based on the author's own research. An emphasis has been placed on biological, technical and other specialized services in agricultural and food processing complex. Agrarian services in the district of Prievidza are analysed too. The development in agriculture druring the last 7 years has affected the connected services. Service businesses show a decrease of loss. The positive tendencies have been registered especially in the private sphere. The work describes some proposals especially in the area of technical services related to the crop production. The results of the research point to their importance, since they influence the whole reproduction process in agriculture. They will gradually change, depending on the structure of crop and animal production. Also, they will have to adapt to the new requirements of agricultural enterprises.
