Abstract

The aim of this article is to deϐine the scope of expropriation undertaken in the touristically and environmentally attractive districts , and its justification determined by public purposes it is expected to serve. In addition, the article to determines how the investments, significant from the environmental or the development of tourist attractions’ viewpoint, limit the individual use of space u in such districts. The study focuses on the period 2008-2011. The research involved all districts identified as touristically or environmentally attractive, i.e. districts located in the mountains, near the sea coast, or in substantial portion covered by large lakes and forests.
