Abstract

This paper deals with innovative flexibility, which is especially useful in struggling against unemployment. The aim of this paper is to investigate to what extent entrepreneurs undertake development activities and to show how innovative flexibility can be improved. This matter is important above all for young people living in areas with a high unemployment rate, who will have to meet the requirements of an increasingly competitive labour market. The bulk of young people will have to create their own workplaces and become “knowledge workers” (Drucker 2001), but this will only be possible if they are creative and innovative. The research conducted by the author shows that many entrepreneurs do not draw on the experience of others, which is regrettable since a higher level of innovative flexibility could contribute to the development of an innovative country. The article highlights that is it likely that in the nearest future only innovative people will create new values and new opportunities.
