Organic agriculture in Citrus cultivation in Martinique seems to be very difficult regarding high pests and diseases pressure in the tropical area. A comparison between standard and organic cultivation of Tahiti Lime shows that the main constraints are located in the weed control and also in the high price of nutritional input approved for organic farming. The yield cumulated during the four first years is similar for both crop managements.
