Abstract

The aim of the work is the assessment of poultry production systems according to sustainable development of agriculture in particular focus on bioeconomy. In practice two systems of poultry production are applied: intensive (conventional) and extensive (ecological). Most of the production is carried out in the conventional system, however ecological system because of high production costs play marginal role. Maintenance of present production rate, assured demand of poultry products, required restriction of negative influence on environment as well as secure economic effectiveness of production.
