U.S. Agriculture in the New International Order

Recent events in Central and Eastern Europe are part of a continuing, world-wide political and economic realignment that is important to U.S. food and agricultural industries. The realignment has greater long-run significance for U.S. agriculture than either the new farm bill or the GAIT negotiations.
