The aim of the study was to evaluate the changes in life expectancy in different regions in Poland, with particular emphasis on the specifics of these processes in rural areas. The analysis was based on a study of differentiation parameters describing the change in life expectancy in rural and urban areas. Using statistical data at NUTS 2 level indicated on the nature of the investigated processes at regional level.
