Abstract
The aim of the study was to analyze the economic efficiency for the type of catering facility – Lunch Bar,
which operates in the Warsaw. The analysis showed that the investment carried brings a small profit – an
average of 2,857.21 PLN per month. A small profit makes that the company has limited opportunities for
further development, which is essential for the ever-changing and followed the trends of the market. It was
determined that simple payback period of more than nine years. To increase the efficiency of their business
owner should select one of the proposed solutions: raising the prices offered meals or increase their sales.
