Abstract
The article presents the situation of the dairy sector in Poland and Ireland in 2007-2013. The sectors
were compared in the context of the extended model SCP. At the beginning presented the basic conditioning of
sector, then the structure, conduct, performance and government policy. The Irish dairy sector in comparison
to the Polish characterized by a higher concentration of industry and production and labor productivity.
