Abstract
Animal welfare is considered by many researchers as public good, by which we mean the good of having
a non-competitive in consumption and inability to exclude from consumption. Due to the fact that the level
of well-being has a significant impact on production and economic results of farms with animal production
in this publication is an attempt to identify the welfare aspects that affect economic outcomes. Based on
research conducted in 150 dairy farms found that the improvement in some aspects related to the welfare
of dairy cattle, such as the length of the period of administration of natural milk to calves, the use of loose
house or access to pasture has a positive impact on the financial results and economical to produce milk.
