In order to establish the ASEAN Economic Community, a plan of action was prepared for the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Sector for the period ending 2015. In this paper, the progress made in the implementation of the plan for the livestock subsector was reviewed and a new strategic plan for the subsector for the period 2016-25 has been developed.
