Abstract

The author reports on the process of developing a retail management course to fit the agricultural economics curriculum. Retail examples are obtained from farm supply, garden centers and retail food businesses. Unique differences for these applications are discussed and incorporated in the instruction of the designated course. A course evaluation is provided.
