Abstract

This paper estimates the on farm economic impact of integrated pest management (I PM), as practised on Victorian processing tomato crops. It was found that for the 1993/94 season, growers using IPM were on average, $97/ha better off than growers using conventional crop protection methods. This benefit was gained through a reduction in the costs associated with pesticide use.
