Abstract
We present data and analysis to determine whether undocumented Mexican workers in agriculture in the Southwestern region and California complement domestic workers or actually serve as substitutes. Empirical analysis of preliminary national agricultural worker survey and other data using a translog model suggest a substitutionary relationship in this study.
