Our results indicate that the program had a significant positive mean effect on the recipients' total net farm income. Moreover, the probability of being in poverty is shown to decrease when a poor coconut producer participates in the program. The program's emphasis on training, intercropping, and livestock integration, as well as the more participatory approach taken, contributed to the strong positive impact of the program. 000007081 650__ $$aCrop Production/Industries 000007081 650__ $$aInternational Development 000007081 6531_ $$acoconut farmers 000007081 6531_ $$apanel data econometric techniques 000007081 6531_ $$apoverty alleviation program 000007081 6531_ $$apropensity score matching (PSM) 000007081 700__ $$aRodriguez, Divina Gracia P. 000007081 700__ $$aRejesus, Roderick M. 000007081 700__ $$aAragon, Corazono T. 000007081 773__ $$q534$$o557$$tJournal of Agricultural and Resource Economics$$j32$$k3$$dDecember 2007 000007081 8564_ $$99feca1a3-34dd-456b-8354-c5d79cab0e97$$s9679950$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/7081/files/32030534.pdf 000007081 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/7081 000007081 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:7081$$pGLOBAL_SET 000007081 912__ $$nSubmitted by Louise Letnes (lletnes@umn.edu) on 2008-03-18T19:22:38Z No. of bitstreams: 1 32030534.pdf: 9679950 bytes, checksum: 5cd85a75a97b29933836214565c1a878 (MD5) 000007081 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2008-03-18T19:22:39Z (GMT).
