Technical efficiency results show that coupled subsidies have negative impacts in Germany and the Netherlands, but no significant impacts in Sweden. Decoupled subsidies negatively affect technical efficiency in each country and to a larger extent than coupled subsidies. Relative productivity results indicate that Dutch technology leads to the highest output, followed by technologies in Germany and Sweden. Dutch farms can improve their competitiveness by exploring their current production potential. Besides improving efficiency, German and Swedish farms may have options to improve their production technology. 000044143 546__ $$aEnglish 000044143 650__ $$aAgricultural and Food Policy 000044143 650__ $$aLivestock Production/Industries 000044143 6531_ $$atechnical efficiency 000044143 6531_ $$aoutput distance function 000044143 6531_ $$adairy farm 000044143 6531_ $$asubsidy 000044143 6531_ $$arelative productivity 000044143 700__ $$aZhu, Xueqin 000044143 700__ $$aDemeter, Robert Milan 000044143 700__ $$aOude Lansink, Alfons G.J.M. 000044143 8564_ $$9fda05a62-b150-4b49-aef4-6e1de2d71e71$$s138846$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/44143/files/227.pdf 000044143 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/44143 000044143 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:44143$$pGLOBAL_SET 000044143 912__ $$nSubmitted by Kayla Pearson (pears469@umn.edu) on 2008-10-14T16:59:57Z No. of bitstreams: 1 227.pdf: 138846 bytes, checksum: 871481dbc13130119678507c4deb4249 (MD5) 000044143 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2008-10-14T16:59:58Z (GMT).
