Transforming Tchèque et Slovaque economics and societies is a conplicated process. It concerns mainly primary agriculture, that is, state farms and cooperatives. Shrinking of food demand causes a glut crisis. Since 1991, however, agricultural prices are increasing again. The soms for subsidies changed, and the total amount is reduced. The aim is now to stimulate structural change, by creating competitive farm enterprizes. Finaly, an account is giving of the agricultural comperative transformation process.
