Abstract
Excerpt: The purpose of this report is (1) to trace the developments in production and consumption of feed grains, meat animals, and meat during the two World Wars and intervening years, and (2) to explore the circumstances which may influence the course of changes during the early postwar period. A clear understanding of the forces which have or may influence changes in the feed-grain and livestock enterprises is fundamental in the job of making advantageous postwar adjustments.
