The results indicate that past capital flight, changes in debt, and government expenditure had no significant impact on capital flight in Ethiopia, while external debt, taxation, and expenditure practices under different political regimes did have a significant effect. The study details policy implications emerging from the empirical results. 000343225 546__ $$aEnglish 000343225 650__ $$aAgricultural Finance 000343225 6531_ $$aFiscal Policy 000343225 6531_ $$aCapital flight 000343225 6531_ $$aAutoregressive Distributed Lag model 000343225 6531_ $$aEthiopia 000343225 700__ $$aGemechu, Kumadebis Tamiru 000343225 773__ $$j28$$k02$$q93$$o129$$tEthiopian Journal of Economics 000343225 8560_ $$fbecke073@umn.edu 000343225 8564_ $$99b0cdbf6-ec2b-4993-9606-c484865c33c3$$s545254$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/343225/files/Capital%20Flight%20and%20Fiscal%20Policy%20in%20Developing%20Countries.pdf 000343225 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:343225$$pGLOBAL_SET 000343225 913__ $$aBy depositing this Content ('Content') in AgEcon Search, I agree that I am solely responsible for any consequences of uploading this Content to AgEcon Search and making it publicly available, and I represent and warrant that: I am either the sole creator and the owner of the copyrights and all other rights in the Content; or, without obtaining another’s permission, I have the right to deposit the Content in an archive such as AgEcon Search.
