Excerpts from the Preface: This list was first issued in December 1960, by the National Agricultural Library under a grant from the National Science Foundation. This first revision includes 19 new titles and approximately 600 new issues which have been added to the collection in addition to changes and corrections. We wish to extend our gratitude to the Chinese Section and the Exchange and Gift Division of the Library of Congress through which many of the new acquisitions have been received. The data used in this bibliography will be incorporated into the union list of Chinese scientific periodicals, now in preparation by the Libraries of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Also included are: List of publishers; Index to titles in Wade-Giles romanization, in "pin yin" romanization and in Latin; and a Subject Index.
