Abstract
The paper deals with the investigation of the integration rate of immigrants in rural areas of the prefecture of Thessaloniki and the factors that contribute to their "integration " in the current period which characterized by uncertainty. For this purpose, a survey research was carried out in 607 residents of the Prefecture. The data were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multivariate statistical analyzes. The contribution of this research is particularly important as, for the first time in Greece under economic uncertainty, a systematic and holistic approach to the factors contributing to the integration and support of immigrants takes place
