Increased production and exports of a number of agricultural products of interest to U.S. farmers are projected by a study completed in 1967 under contract for the U.S. Department of Agriculture by a team of economists at Monash University, Clayton, Victoria, under the direction of F. H. Gruen, Director of Agricultural Economics. This study was largely concerned with production, consumption, and marketing of agricultural commodities competitive with farm products produced in the United States.
