This report summarizes a recently completed study, Peru, Long-Term Projections of Demand for and Supply of Selected Agricultural Commodities Through 1980. The study was prepared by the Programa de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo of the Universidad Agraria, La Molina, Lima, Peru. This market development study was conducted under contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is one of a series conducted by the Department to evaluate long-term prospects of demand for and supply of agricultural products throughout the world. The data used as a basis for projections are from Peruvian sources and may vary from USDA estimates. Summarization of study results does not imply concurrence by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
