On average, we show the recessionary effects of COVID-19 are likely to increase the growth of food-at-home sales by 1 percent and decrease the growth of food-away-from-home sales by 0.9 percent. These results indicate the recessionary effects of COVID-19 on food sales are small compared to the pandemic and public health effects of COVID-19 on food sales. }, url = {http://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/309615}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.22004/ag.econ.309615}, }
