Abstract

In order to clarify the impact of urbanization development on food production, based on panel data from 31 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) in China from 2005 to 2015, using a fixed effect model, the paper found that the urbanization rate has a negative impact on per capita food production, and finally made the related policy recommendations. The above research is of significance for promoting the development of urbanization and ensuring food security.
