000293695 520__ $$aCelem artykułu jest ocena poziomu zjawiska ubóstwa energetycznego w Polsce. W ostatnich latach podjęto próby definiowania tego zjawiska i traktowania jako odrębne pojęcie w stosunku do ubóstwa dochodowego. Ubóstwo energetyczne to trudność w zaspokojeniu podstawowych potrzeb energetycznych w miejscu zamieszkania za rozsądną cenę. Wykorzystano dane GUS oraz Instytutu Badań Strukturalnych. Problem ubóstwa energetycznego ma w Polsce istotne znaczenie – w 2014 roku zagrożone nim było 9,6% gospodarstw domowych. Ubóstwo energetyczne jest wieloaspektowym problemem, niosącym za sobą wiele negatywnych konsekwencji, szkodliwych m.in. dla ludzkiego zdrowia i życia.
