abstract = {This report summarizes individual farm financial results for participants in the Minnesota Organic Farm Business Management Project for 2009 and provides comparisons to previous years. The report includes whole-farm information as well as costs and returns for individual enterprises. The year-end analysis of the individual farms was completed by Minnesota Farm Business Management instructors or by Minnesota Farm Management Associations. A total of 70 farms reported data for 2009. Of those, 47 were “completely organic,” meaning that all of the agricultural products produced on the farm were produced under organic certification. The Whole Farm Results section summarizes only these completely organic farms, whereas the crop and dairy enterprise reports include data provided by both completely and partially organic farms.},
