This report presents a conceptual model of strategic planning for use by small and midsize farmer cooperatives. Basic elements and attributes of strategic planning are defined and described in the context of cooperative organizational structure. Information on how strategic planning can be implementedas a system or process-in small or midsize cooperatives is provided.
