Keywords

The major objective of this study is to determine possible; differences between production functions, and determine differences; in productivity levels as means to appraise resource allocative; efficiency on small and large farms. Cobb-Douglas production functions; were estimated using cross-section data, collected from 193; randomly selected farm families in two counties of West Tennessee.; The empricial results reveal that significant differences exist; between the groups of farms. These differences are reflected by; production functions and production elasticities of individual inputs.
