abstract = {A linear programming model of turkey production was constructed to help in evaluating research results and planning new projects. It maximizes profits per lot subject to nutrient, ingredient, feed quantity, sex ratio, and production capacity constraints. Applications to date include analyses of feeding trials involving various protein sources and establishing priorities for new research.},
