Abstract

Understanding relationships between market structure, conduct, and performance is argued to be important for proper design of contingent markets. Such an understanding may be gained through experimental economics methodology, as demonstrated by a study of Impacts of information quantity, complexity, and display on "information overload" in a simple contingent market.
