Data in respect to age at first calving, service per conception, post partum heat period, gestation period and calving interval, recorded on five parities of 79 cows at the Military Farm Savar, and Central Cattle Breeding Station and Dairy Farm, Savar, Dhaka were analyzed to evaluate the reproductive performances of six genetics groups of cows under ideal farming condition. Age at first calving ranged from 792.00±27.11 days in AFS to 1562.38±67.66 days in LxF cows. Likewise, post partum heat period from 134.66±12.97 days in AFS to 264.18±19.33 days in SL cows, number of services per conception ranged from 1.42±. 07 in LxF to 2.23±0.28 in LxHxF cows; gestation period from 276.09±1.45 days in L to 283.30±1.01 days in SL cows; and calving internal from 468.30±17.77 days in AFS to 599.22±23.89 days in SL cows. Statistical analysis of the results indicated that traits other than gestation period were significantly affected (ix. 01) by different genotypic groups. Al of the traits under study were found not significantly differ/affected by parity differences/number of parities. The best performances for traits- age at first calving, post partum heat period and calving interval observed in AFS. The performance of local cows for traits of age at first calving and calving interval were better than LxF cows but service per conception was lower than LxF cows.
