The aim of the article is to determine and evaluate the level of changes in the three domains of sustainable development in the years 2005-2014 (dynamic approach) in rural and urban – rural communities in Zachodniopomorskie province. Secondary aim is to determine and evaluate the level of these three domains in the year 2014 (static approach). Economic, social and environmental domain were included. In total 103 municipalities were analyzed, and the data come from the Local Data Bank CSO. The levels of analyzed occurrences was determined by no pattern method of synthetic indicator. Then examined communities divided into five classes with different levels of analyzed occurrences. In the studied region there have been positive changes of varying intensity in the analyzed years.
