Recently there has been intensive debates as to whether or not this kind of training has any significant impact. Most case studies argue that the impact, in terms of a farmers ability to reduce the use or pesticides while increasing yields, is significant. However, studies conducted by Feder et al., using a household panel data set for Indonesia, could not confirm that this is the case. This paper utilises Feder et al.s data set and applies a spatial econometric technique to re-evaluate whether or not the FFS induces better performances among farmers enrolled in the program and also among their neighbours, who are expected to receive some spillover knowledge from the FFS alumna. 000025427 546__ $$aEnglish 000025427 650__ $$aLabor and Human Capital 000025427 6531_ $$aagricultural economics 000025427 6531_ $$aspatial econometrics 000025427 6531_ $$aeconomic development 000025427 700__ $$aYamazaki, Satoshi 000025427 700__ $$aResosudarmo, Budy P. 000025427 8564_ $$949fed9ea-5c4e-482e-8826-f0811ca5fe53$$s186238$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/25427/files/cp060725.pdf 000025427 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/25427 000025427 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:25427$$pGLOBAL_SET 000025427 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2007-03-07T19:15:39Z (GMT).
